How does this work?

Back in the early 2010s, a project called Open Psychometrics built the original "Statistical Which Character" dataset. Visitors picked a character they knew well, then rated that character on ~30 randomly-sampled trait pairs (like scientific ↔ artistic or cautious ↔ impulsive) by dragging a slider between the two poles.

Hundreds of thousands of raters contributed over many years, and each character's final score on each trait is the average of all those independent slider positions. With enough ratings per character, the noise averages out and you get a robust personality fingerprint — the same kind of fingerprint that powers our 16-type, 64-archetype framework.

You're doing the same thing here. Pick a show. Pick a character you know. Drag the slider between two trait poles to say where they fall. Submit. Repeat. Every rating you submit gets averaged into our model, and over time the picture of each character gets sharper.
